“You can judge a society by how well it treats its prisoners.”-Fyodor Dostoevsky
This is January 6 political prisoner Ryan Samsel. He’s been held without trail since January 2021. These are the conditions he’s been living in for the past five months.
Ryan managed to speak to a Gateway Pundit reporter this week, telling them, “I was kept in … a hard cell. And in that particular cell about five, six months. I even told you what was happening is the judge was actually calling, trying to get in contact with me because I wasn’t in a named cell. They were missing me and they were saying I wasn’t showing up to court. They were saying I wasn’t showing up to medical. But they were pretty much keeping me in there… Like I said, it was cold, the light was on, there’s zero window. And that followed me from Virginia. When I was in Virginia, it was the same exact conditions.”
He may have been kept in these conditions to prevent him from testifying in the Proud Boys trial. Ryan was the man who Ray Epps whispered to before the barriers came down.

Similar treatment has been given to other January 6th political prisoners. Political prisoner Barry Ramey has been put into a permanent cycle of movement between prisons, which allows the BoP to get away with torturing him due to the technicalities of how prisoner movement works. They lock him in solitary, refuse to give him mail, phone calls, toiletries, reading material or any outside/rec time for years on end, as they bounce him from prison to prison.
