Trump Prosecutor Fani Willis Disqualification Hearing Recap - IT'S WILD!
Find out what the media isn't telling you.
For those of you with jobs who don't have time to watch the Fani Willis trial, you missed some seriously insane court room antics these past couple of days. I’ve watched the trial so far, so please indulge me while I inform you of all the facts that came out which the press is refusing to cover.
To bring you up to speed, the court is holding an evidentiary hearing to see if Fani had an inappropriate relationship with Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor she hired to prosecute Trump, and whether she materially benefited from the relationship. If the judge finds that she did, he will likely either dismiss the case entirely or disqualify the Fulton County DA’s Office from prosecuting the case, which would then likely result in the charges being dismissed because it is unlikely that another DA would be dumb enough to continue pursuing the charges against Trump.
Fani and Nathan claim that they had no romantic relationship before he was hired, and that she hired him purely because she felt he was the most qualified person for the job. And that while they were dating each other, Fani paid for half of everything, so there was no material benefit from the relationship.
Before the hearing even began, the DA’s office accused the defense of proffering false information and gross misconduct, and even called on the judge to issue sanctions against the defense for even bringing the claim against Fani, stating the defense had no evidence to support their accusations. This is a big deal, and one the defense took great offense to.
More specifically, one of the things the DA claimed the defense was lying about was having direct communications with Terrence Bradley that would support their case. Terrence is a former law partner of Nathan’s, a close friend of Nathan’s and he’s also Nathan’s divorce attorney. This accusation by the DA against the defense would ultimately come back to bite them in the ass.
To start the hearing, the defense brings in a Robin Yeartie, who used to work with Fani and was close friends with Fani prior to a falling out they had. Robin flat out says Nathan and Fani were dating before Nathan was appointed, and that Fani benefited from the relationship by paying Nathan more than $650K to work as the special prosecutor and then going on lavish vacations with him practically every month he was hired before Trump was indicted. Nathan was routinely splashing out for dinners, gifts, vacations, etc.. on Fani while they were dating each other.
Then Nathan and Fani took the stand, both testifying they had no romantic relationship prior to Nathan being hired, and that Fani paid for half of everything while they were dating - but their claims about how Fani paid were utterly ridiculous. Fani claims she paid Nathan cash for all of their shared expenses. Multi-thousand dollar trip to Aruba? Cash. Multi-thousand dollar trip to Napa? Cash. Multi-thousand dollar cruises? Cash. Lavish dinners? Cash.
When Fani was asked if she could produce any bank records showing she withdrew cash in roughly the amounts needed to cover the expenses at the time of the trips, she claimed she could not because she accumulated the cash by making numerous small withdraws at places like Publix or ATMs, and always maintained a horde of cash at her residence because that’s what her father raised her to do. She also refused to release her bank records to the defense.
When Nathan testified, he was unable to show any records of him depositing these alleged thousands of dollars in cash payments to his bank accounts, and was quite smug in his responses, claiming that he spent the cash and did not deposit it.
When Fani testified, she acted like a completely unhinged narcissist, ranting and raving that all of the evidence the defense produced against her was a lie, accusing the defense of misconduct. She was so out of control that the judge had to caution her twice while she was on the stand. Everything both she and Nathan testified to was in direct conflict with the defense witness. In her rage, she blurted out that she apparently kept and comingled personal funds with her campaign funds, which is a crime.
The DA then drags in Fani’s father, who is a former Black Panther, communist, and attorney himself, to try and shore up Fani’s testimony. He flat out admitted that he watched the trial and read the news about the trial up to the point of him testifying, which is a big no-no and something an attorney should have known not to do. Him doing so basically discredits his entire testimony. He claimed he taught Fani to horde cash and keep it in safes at her house, stating that “it’s a black thing” to horde cash.
There were other facts that came out at trial, like the fact that Fani fired her personal security team, who was with her constantly prior to her hiring Nathan, and then hired a fresh new team who had no knowledge of her prior relationship with Nathan, thus preventing the defense from subpoenaing her security detail. As well as insinuations of other misconduct by the DA, which the judge didn’t want to get into at this stage yet, as he plans on holding separate hearings to deal with the allegations of misconduct.
Attorney Terrence Bradley
Finally we get to Terrence Bradley. The DA did everything in their power to protect Terrence from having to testify, clearly because Terrence knows the truth about everything. Prior to Terrence taking the stand, at a private meeting, the DA coached and cajoled Terrence into claiming that Nathan hired him as his divorce attorney all the way back in 2018 (Nathan is still married today). This gave Terrence a legal shield that prevented him from having to disclose what he knew about Nathan and Fani’s relationship, because lawyers are not allowed to disclose privileged client information.
I’m assuming that at it was at this meeting, where they cajoled Terrence into shielding Nathan, where Terrence must have told the DA that he didn’t have any material conversations with the defense about the case, which is why the DA accused the defense of lying at trial.
While Terrence was on the stand, Terrence admitted he still considered Nathan his friend, he also claimed everything he knew about Nathan and Fani’s relationship was the result of privileged communications between him and Nathan, and that he knew nothing about the relationship outside of what Nathan told him during legal consultations - a facially ridiculous claim. Further, Terrence went on to claim that the reason he left Nathan’s law firm was also the result of privileged communication.
The defense attacked Terrence by insinuating that the reason he left the law firm was because Nathan was asking him to lie for him in the trial and divorce proceedings, leading to a falling out between the two. Terrence denied this and continued claiming the reason he left the firm was privileged information.
The defense then confronted Terrence with text messages he had sent defense council Ashleigh Merchant, who knew each other prior to the case, where he disclosed material facts about the case that apparently showed Nathan lied on his sworn statements about the divorce and his relationship with Fani. This obviously refuted the earlier claims by the prosecution that the defense had lied about communicating with Terrence, making the prosecution look like vindictive idiots (which, as you will see, they are.)
Terrence then claimed that the information he provided Ashleigh in the text messages were the result of privileged communications with Nathan, so the judge then ordered that the text messages would not be allowed in as evidence.
Then all hell broke lose.
After the defense finishes with Terrence, who I think did an admirable job trying to cover for his friend and bolstering the prosecutions case, the DA started screaming at him that he lied about why he left the law firm, and that the actual reason he left the firm was because a co-worker had accused him of sexually assaulting her. This revelation obviously meant that Terrence had lied about the reason being privileged information.
The DA was so vindictive and stupid that they attacked their own star witness, who had just spent hours on the stand fending off the defense from getting any information out of him, just to undermine the weak insinuation that Terrence may have left the firm because Nathan asked him to lie for him.
Remember, Terrence had also made the DA look stupid by telling the DA he didn’t communicate with the defense team, which I’m betting he probably honestly forgot about doing - which I’m sure also triggered the DA.
The DA was so vindictive that they actually brought in two other witnesses just to show Terrence was lying about why he left the firm, after the fact he lied had already been admitted to by Terrence - just to twist the knife even further. The judge prevented those witnesses from testifying since they were not relevant to the case and the fact he lied had already been established.
As this goes down, the defense nearly backflips out of their seats and the judge finishes by saying that now he can't trust what Terrence claimed was privileged is actually privileged.
The prosecutor is such a nasty bitch that she likely destroyed her own case and her own witness just to refute a weak point brought by the defense. Unbelievable but true. The entire Fulton County DA staff are full of narcissistic, vile and incompetent people - and now it's coming back to bite them in their own asses.
The judge will review the texts, and everything else Terrence claimed was privileged, in private and seal the record. If the judge finds that he lied, which he clearly did, then it's likely he will use the information against the DA in his ruling.
My impression of the judge up to this point has been that he was trying his best to be fair, but also, if he could avoid having to go into evidence that showed Fani and Nathan were lying, he would do so. I think he was very reticent to issue any ruling against the DA, and was kind of looking for a way out of this without having to dismiss, but at this point, given all antics and lying by the DA witnesses, I think it is likely that he will in fact rule in favor of the defense.
So now we await the judge’s ruling on the dismissal for the inappropriate relationship and material benefits and that’s where we stand today.
The old Black Panthers and other America hating, radical left Alinsky and Marxist zealots are now deeply embedded in our justice system. Not just Hillary and Obama, but all over. OMG!!!
