Wallace William Thornhill passed away on February 7th at the age of 81. Wal was a personal hero of mine. He was a true visionary. His works on cosmology completely upended my perception of the universe and helped spawn an entirely new branch of cosmology. He was one of the greatest promoters of scientific truth to have ever lived. I would put him on par with greats like Tesla and Newton. His tribute page on
